The cervix is at the end of the uterus. It is a narrow channel that leads to the uterus. Cervical polyps are soft. It looks like a finger-like polyp. It begins to grow from inside the cervix. The polyp hangs down from the stalk and usually pushes through the opening. Cervical polyps are common, especially in women over 20 who have had children. Almost all of them are benign.
