Pulmonary rupture is a condition in which air leaks due to a lung tear. and attaches the lungs to the chest wall There is usually water between the pleura to allow the lungs to move and expand fully. So when the air leaks out the pleura. It will cause the lungs to collapse and attach to the chest cavity.

cause
Causes of lung leaks, such as severe accidents As a result, the lung is torn, such as a severe blow to the chest. Or broken ribs pierced the lungs. Another cause is spontaneous pneumothorax, which often occurs in people with emphysema. or in tall people Which will have a difficult cough, resulting in rupture of the lungs and easily leak air

symptom
What are the symptoms of lung collapse?
1.Has a shallow breathing in and out.
2. Feeling of chest pain like a sharp object when inhaling and exhaling.
3. Feeling faint and weak

diagnosis
1. Taking history and physical examination of the patient

2.Use a stetoscope Listen to both lung sounds to check if one side is louder than usual.

3. Confirm lung rupture by X-ray

4.Check blood oxygen and check electrocardiogram by doing EKG.

treatment
It depends on the severity of the ruptured lung.
1. Slight lung leak Able to release the body to absorb the leaking wind and heal the wound itself.
2. Slightly larger lung leak The needle may be inserted in the correct position to ventilate the air.
3.In the case of a massive lung leak An extension tube should be inserted on the side to let air out into the prepared bottle. until the lungs are able to function as close to normal therefore consider removing the pipe
